Environmental Policy & Carbon Reduction Plan
Reinvigoration believe that businesses are responsible for achieving good environmental practice and operating in a sustainable manner.
We are therefore committed to reducing our environmental impact and continually improving our environmental performance as an integral and fundamental part of our business strategy and operating methods.
It is our priority to encourage our customers, suppliers and all business associates to do the same. Not only is this sound commercial sense for all; it is also a matter of delivering on our duty of care towards future generations.
Our policy is to:
- Wholly support and comply with or exceed the requirements of current environmental legislation and codes of practice.
- Minimise our waste and then reuse or recycle as much of it as possible.
- Minimise energy and water usage in our buildings, vehicles and processes to conserve supplies, and minimise our consumption of natural resources, especially where they are non-renewable.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles (where appropriate) with due regard to environmental issues as far as reasonably practical and encourage the use of alternative means of transport and car sharing as appropriate
- Apply the principles of continuous improvement in respect of air, water, noise and light pollution from our premises and reduce any impacts from our operations on the environment and local community.
- As far as possible purchase products and services that do the least damage to the environment and encourage others to do the same.
- Assess the environmental impact of any new processes or products we intend to introduce in advance.
As the main environmental effect of Reinvigoration’s operations is down to consultant transportation, we now promote the use of public transport wherever possible. Reinvigoration pays the expenses of public transportation to it’s employees and offers to book these in advance to promote this use of eco-friendly travel.

Commitment to achieving Net Zero
Reinvigoration is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050.
Baseline Emissions Footprint
Baseline emissions are a record of the greenhouse gases that have been produced in the past and were produced prior to the introduction of any strategies to reduce emissions. Baseline emissions are the reference point against which emissions reduction can be measured.

|
Reinvigoration has no historic baseline of emissions reporting and will be taking 2022 as its first year of measurements. The organisation has undergone significant change following the 2020 Covid-19 Pandemic. During this period the company transitioned from an office-based business to operating remotely across the organisation. The creation of a new baseline is due to this new organisational change. |

Emissions reduction targets
In order to continue our progress to achieving Net Zero, we have adopted the following carbon reduction targets. We project that carbon emissions will decrease over the next five years to 10,700 kgCO2e by 2030. This is a reduction of 21%
Progress against these targets can be seen in the graph below:
Carbon Reduction Projects
Completed Carbon Reduction Initiatives
The following environmental management measures and projects have been completed or implemented since the 2022 baseline. The carbon emission reduction achieved by these schemes equate to 1,606 tCO2e, an 11% reduction against the 2022 baseline and the measures will be in effect when performing the contract.
- Policy revision regarding company travel
- Review of energy providers with a focus on renewables suppliers
In the future, we hope to implement further measures such as continued company travel policy changes and carbon offset programmes.
